What this site is
Plot to Skyline is an independent educational site about real estate development. It explains, in plain language, how a project moves from a piece of land to a finished building: the stages, the feasibility test, the money behind it, and why cities and developers build mixed-use and entertainment districts.
The site is not a developer, investor, lender or broker. It is not affiliated with any company, and it does not accept project submissions, deals or business proposals.
How we write
The guides rely on general, checkable knowledge, such as definitions and well documented examples found in public reference works. When a figure, a timeline or a cost depends on the market, the place or the year, the guides leave it out rather than guess.
What we do not do
Nothing on this site is investment, legal, tax or financial advice, and nothing here promises a return. Real projects depend on local rules, markets and professional advice from architects, engineers, lawyers and lenders.
